Leam Hall - DevSecOps Engineer

Do you want

  • reduced time to build and reduced time to market?
  • reduced manual activity and human error so that SME's can contribute directly to business goals?
  • reduced risk footprint through operational resiliency and integrated cyber defense?

What is DevSecOps Engineering?

Moving from a manual operations mode is difficult. Doing so while maintaining a robust and secure environment is critical for business continuity and reputation. We've all seen the latest suite of "solutions" marketing hit management's radar. In reality, the path can be nebulous and success is not plug and play.

I have been helping teams do just this for more than two decades.

What I really do

Help mid-sized (100's of nodes) to large (1,000's of nodes) sites transition from a manual operations mode to a DevSecOps enabled environment through automated builds, infrastructure as data, service testing, process streamlining, and integrated documentation.

What others say about my work

Leam automated and organized the integration of many of the scattered processes we utilized in our development environment into several scripts that integrated seamlessly into our workflow.

Under Leam’s direction the group achieved greater productivity, reduced errors and produced innovative solutions that enhanced the departments’ reputation with other units within Verizon.

If we simply need an issue resolved he does it in an efficient and professional manner, but if we want to know the "why" behind it, his explanations are clear, concise and easily understood.

In addition to his direct responsibilities, Leam was responsible for the training sessions with the staff, writing effective training modules for the global operation team, inspiring and motivating other employees. He was a joy to work with.
